The Journey Against Sapa

It is no longer news that January can be the most difficult month financially. This could be due to all the festivities that happen in December which in some cases leads to a general hike in goods and services.

This means that even without being a spendthrift, you are likely to be spending more on the necessaries leaving you with a lot less in the new year.

Therefore, we are introducing the #SaveAgainstSapa challenge. Sapa is slang that describes a state of being financially broke. Therefore, this savings challenge is aimed at encouraging you to cushion the effects of sapa that could come in January.

Starting from November 1st to December 31st 2021, we are all encouraged to start a Backup Goal on our Backup Cash account with the aim of #savingagainstsapa in January. With a minimum of Sixty Thousand Naira, you stand the chance to win cash prizes and other consolation prizes.

How To Participate:

1. Open a Backup Cash account

2. Create a backup Goal with a minimum goal amount of N60,000 between November 1 and December 31, 2021

3. Take a screenshot of the plan name

4. Share this on social media and tag @backupcash

5. Stay committed to your backup goal

Your Backup Goal can be daily, weekly or monthly but consistency is key.

At the end of the 61days, winners will be chosen via a live draw.
